EmmChat - February 2010 Issue 4
One of our good friends and previous students sent this email to us. Katy lives on North NSW coast and has been practicing for about 3 years. She also did a revision in Singapore with Ross the last time he was there. She has been excited about the great results she has been experiencing with the technique.
Katy Berentsen – A Good Outcome
“I have had a wonderful result with a client. 38 yr old male born with psuedo psuedo thyroidism.
Every day is a bonus for him. He has lived with pain and strong medications all his life. He has so many issues with his body which was twisted and his feet are stunted and deformed. He has calcifications in his elbows. He cannot release his arms as the tendons are shortened (I have tried all the moves there).
D's mother reported he was now walking so much better than anyone could remember and his rheumatologist was amazed and was told about the Emmett technique.
Today he came to me for 'maintenance'. I asked him if there was anything specific he was having difficulty with and he said..NO. I am pain free for the first time !!
The 2nd treatment had held well. I decided to focus on the basics, and a balance, remembering Ross and Rick saying not to overdo things and potentially wind him up again.
Thank you for this amazing technique.”
Actions speak louder than words!
This is our module 4 & 5 at Coonabarabran before Christmas.
After the course we had a Kris Kringle dinner, where we each had to give a gift that we had made, to no greater cost than $10, all of the gifts made and given were outstanding in quality and worth much, much more than the $10 spent in making the gift.
All the names to be gifted to, were picked out of a hat. It was wonderful to see how appropriately the gifts matched the recipient.
Some of the beautiful gifts given were lush plants grown from seedlings, hand made cheese boards with attached pate recipes, home made bath salts, polished timber boxes and many more.
As teachers it was wonderful for Kerry and I to see such a great, intuitive group of therapists relaxing and interacting so well together.
Cheers,
Rick Cuthbert & Kerry Stroud
